Pupils from a Hampshire primary school brought generations together when they visited a dementia care home for an autumn pumpkin celebration.
The party from Lymington Infant School spent time carving and decorating pumpkins with residents at Colten Care’s Linden House in the town.
As well as the hands-on creativity, there was a chance to enjoy dancing at a themed disco.
Resident Pam summed up her reflections on the visit, saying: “I love seeing the young children, they bring me so much joy.”
Home Manager Priya Joseph said: “The loveliest moments were the interactions between our residents and their visiting little ones – lots of laughter shared and a great way to brighten the day.
“A huge thank-you to everyone at Lymington Infant School for joining us and helping to make the day so enjoyable.”
