Skills for Care has launched a new LinkedIn showcase page dedicated to sharing its comprehensive adult social care sector and workforce data insights.
Skills for Care is commissioned by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) to collect data on adult social care providers in England and their workforce. It uses this information to estimate the size of the sector and characteristics of the workforce; discover patterns and trends; share insights in regular reports, and create interactive data visualisations.
The new channel will share updates on how the Government, think tanks, researchers and the media are already using Skills for Care’s data and reports to inform their thinking.
Followers of the page will also be alerted when Skills for Care publishes its latest reports and data visualisations on topics including social work, nursing, apprenticeships and pay in adult social care.
You will also find further focused insights from Skills for Care’s flagship ‘The state of the adult social care sector and Workforce in England’ report.
The insightful data shared on this new channel will help people across the social care sector to discover data and insights which can help with planning and supporting positive change within the adult social care sector. It is intended that the new channel will start conversations and foster collaboration across the sector.
