This week is National Care Home Open Week and the Great British Care Cycle Relay is making its way through the country, recently making a stop at Belong Chester care village on City Road, where the participants stopped for a refuel and a chat with residents, as well as children from the integrated Nursery in Belong.
Charlotte Parton, experience coordinator at Belong Chester said: “Today, the Great British Care Cycle Relay stopped at our village for a refuel and chat with our residents and children from The Nursery in Belong.
“It was lovely to listen to our residents’ stories about their experiences with cycling, and getting to know this year’s relay cyclists. It brought everyone together and was a great way to kick off care home open week! We invite the whole community to pop in this week to meet the team, have a tour and enjoy refreshments in our public bistro.”
