Making a positive impact on the community is not just a goal for Knowle Gate Care Home; it’s a core value.
The luxury care home in Knowle, part of Avery Healthcare, proudly hosted a lively Summer Fete in its beautifully landscaped gardens, bringing together residents, staff, and the local community for a day of fun and fundraising.
The event attracted over 100 attendees, including residents, loved ones and community members, and raised an impressive £750.
All proceeds raised will be split between Age UK Solihull, Dementia UK, and the Alzheimer’s Society.
The vibrant event featured a wide range of funfair activities and stalls, including classic garden games like Hook a Duck, Coconut Shy, and sponge throwing.
Guests also basked in the sunlit day, enjoyed delicious food, live music, a tombola, and a raffle, making the most of the fun-filled atmosphere.
Courtney Norton, Customer Services Manager at Knowle Gate Care Home, expressed heartfelt thanks, saying, “We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of our Summer Fete.”
Arden Hotel, Smyths Toy Store in Shirley and Shirley Golf Club also provided exceptional support and generous donations to the cause. Their contributions significantly contributed to making the event a memorable and enjoyable experience for all involved.
