Littleton Lodge Care Home Makes Special Delivery for National Pharmacist Day

Residents from Littleton Lodge care home in Cannock made a special delivery to their local pharmacists in honour of National Pharmacist Day.

To thank the pharmacists for their work in the community, residents, and staff members from Littleton Lodge hand-delivered gift hampers.

77-year-old resident, Ben Tilson, said, ‘I’ve found it an absolute joy to put a smile on our wonderful pharmacists’ faces. They are always so busy, and I feel like sometimes they are forgotten about. Happy National Pharmacist Day!’

Visiting Well Pharmacy, Hednesford Pharmacy and Bains Pharmacy, the Littleton Lodge residents were thanked for their generosity.

Michelle Bywater, the Home Manager at Littleton Lodge, said, ‘It’s important to acknowledge and appreciate people who work so hard to make our community a great one, and seeing our residents form friendships with our fantastic pharmacists was wonderful.

‘We regularly thank key workers in our area at our monthly Blue Light Breakfast, where all Blue Light Card holders are welcome to Littleton Lodge to start their day right with homemade breakfast treats!’

Littleton Lodge’s Blue Light Breakfast takes place on the last Thursday of each month from 10:00-11:30 at Littleton Lodge care home, Bishop Street, Hednesford, Cannock, WS12 4HT.
