Foxearth Lodge’s Care Home Open Week

Foxearth Lodge Care Home Open Week

Foxearth Lodge care home in Woodbridge, Suffolk, is delighted to announce the success of their
recent Care Home Open Week, which featured a series of wonderful events that brought joy and
excitement to residents, families, and the local community.

The highlight of the week was the ‘Magical Encounter’ event, where team members dressed as
Disney princesses and welcomed residents and local children to a day of fun in the garden. The
event included classic games such as egg and spoon races and sack races, as well as arts and
crafts and cake decorating. The magical atmosphere created a truly memorable experience for
everyone involved.

Additionally, the home held their spectacular Summer Fete. The event was a resounding
success, with residents, family, friends, and community members coming together to enjoy live
music. The fete also featured delicious treats and a wonderful art exhibition arranged by a
resident and his wife.

“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who participated and helped make our Care Home Open
Week events so special,” said Roxanne Cutajar, the manager of Foxearth Lodge Care Home.
“Seeing the joy on the faces of our residents and guests is fantastic. These events highlight the
strong sense of community we have at Foxearth Lodge and our commitment to creating a
vibrant and engaging environment for our residents.”

Foxearth Lodge extends its heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers, performers, and participants
who contributed to the success of the Care Home Open Week. The home looks forward to
hosting more exciting events in the future and continuing to build meaningful connections
within the community.
