Learning Disability Week 2022, hosted by Mencap, runs from the 20th – 26th June 2022.This year’s campaign’s theme will be on ‘Living Life with a Learning Disability.’ Highlighting how people with learning disabilities are reconnecting with their friends and communities. As well as to address the continuing issues many people still face after the end of COVID restrictions, such as poor mental health and anxiety.

“For this year’s Learning Disability Week, it is vital that the Adult Social Care sector receives assistance from the Government to continue to provide the necessary and vital care they provide to the 1.5 million people with learning disabilities, especially in the light of the pandemic and the extra obstacles it presents when it comes to providing outstanding care.”
