Longridge Hall Care Home are thrilled to celebrate nine remarkable Care Practitioners, who have recently achieved their Care Certificates. This is a significant milestone for each of the Care Practitioners and reflects their commitment to delivering the highest standards of care to our residents.

Achieving the Care Certificate is no small feat. It requires not only a deep understanding of care practices but also a commitment to the well-being of residents. Nine Care Practitioners at Longridge Hall showed these qualities throughout their training, demonstrating empathy and compassion as they cared for residents at the home.

These Care Practitioners have gone above and beyond in their roles, ensuring that each resident receives personalised, respectful, and dignified care. Their ability to connect with residents on a personal level, listen to their needs and provide comfort in moments of vulnerability speaks volumes about their dedication.

The Care Certificate provides a framework to ensure that all Care Practitioners have the same skills, knowledge and behaviours to provide compassionate, safe and high-quality care.Blessing from Longridge Hall Care Home told us what passing the Care Certificate means to him: “Passing the Care Certificate means I have understood the fundamentals of care, that is the skills and knowledge needed to work in a quality caring way.”We hope that the success of these nine Care Practitioners will inspire others within the Sandstone Care Group to pursue their Care Certificates. The benefits of this training extend far beyond the certificate itself; it enriches the care experience the residents receive and also gives their loved ones the benefit of knowing they’re in the best hands. As we celebrate the achievements of the Care Practitioners, we are excited to follow their careers at Longridge Hall and see what the future has install for this ambitious, caring team.Jay Chaplin, Regional Training and Development Manager said “We’re so proud to have such dedicated and compassionate individuals on our team, and we are confident that they will continue to make a positive impact on the lives of the residents. I’d like to say a personal thank you to the 9 Care Practitioners who passed their Care Certificate, for all your hard work, compassion and dedication. You are truly the heart of Sandstone Care, and we are grateful for all that you do.”

Sandstone Care are committed to continuing a culture of continuous learning and development and encourage all their carers to consider pursuing their Care Certificate, to take advantage of the opportunities for growth within the organisation.
