The NFA Group recognised as one of best places to work

The NFA Group – one of the UK’s leading children’s services providers – are delighted to be recognised as one of the ‘2020 UK’s Best Workplaces™’

The NFA Group, one of the UK’s leading children’s services providers, has been recognised as one of the ‘2020 UK’s Best Workplaces™’ by Great Place to Work®.

Regarded as the ‘gold standard’ of employer awards, Great Place to Work® celebrates excellence and recognises innovation, it is the largest survey of workplace cultures and people practices and is the only assessment of its kind which evaluates both employee experience and HR and leadership practices.

The NFA Group secured the position 28 in the super large companies category (1000+ employees) in the 2020 UK’s Best Workplaces™ announced on 30th April 2020.  The ranking reflects how employees feel about working for the NFA Group and is based on a Trust Index© Survey which invites employees to anonymously respond to a series of questions focused on engagement, leadership, staff well-being, development opportunities, company culture and values. Companies with at least 65% of positive responses qualify for Great Place to Work® certification. In addition, the assessment involves a “culture audit”, which evaluates the company’s HR processes and managerial practice and enables a deeper understanding of the practices that determine an organisations culture.

The Great Place to Work results show that The NFA Groups particular areas of strength were those scores achieved for equality, autonomy, accomplishment, engagement and trust. In particular 85% of employees feel a sense of pride over the company’s accomplishments, 87% believe that they are given adequate responsibility in their roles, whilst 83% agreed that when they joined the organisation they were made to feel welcome and an encouraging 82% of employees felt that they could have open and honest conversations with their managers.
