ARC England asks everyone who cares about social care to come and support the Providers Unite Day of Action on Tuesday 25th February 2025.
The funding crisis affecting learning disability and autism service providers has been alarming ARC England and our members for years. This reality has been compounded by the Autumn 2024 budget confirming that all providers will be hit by 12% more in their costs from April 2025.
It is time that the Government, which has a statutory duty to provide most of the services ARC England members deliver, accepted its responsibility to pay for those services!
ARC England’s annual Fee Rate Maps tell the real story of year-on-year below-inflation local authority fee rate uplifts and the genuine impact on our communities’ ability to provide high quality care.
Clive Parry said: “All we ask is that this government enable people with learning disabilities and autism to live their lives with choice and control. That is why ARC England stands four-square behind Providers Unite, the grass roots movement which amplifies the voices of providers, the people they support and their communities. I encourage everyone to get behind it and support the Day of Action on Tuesday 25th February.”
