Achieve together celebrates finalists in the Learning Disability and Autism Leaders Awards 2025

Achieve together is thrilled to announce that three remarkable individuals and Campaign 4 Change have been recognised as finalists in the prestigious Learning Disability and Autism Leaders Awards 2025. These awards celebrate outstanding achievements and leadership within the learning disability and autism community, highlighting those who make a real difference.

Our Finalists:

  • Mary Woodall, Advocacy, Policy, and the Media Finalist, has been recognised for her tireless advocacy and pioneering work in co-production and raising awareness of issues affecting people with learning disabilities.
  • James Toll, Local Communities Finalist, has transformed his own journey by volunteering for Age UK in Plymouth, creating a welcoming space for veterans and supporting his community with unwavering dedication.
  • Ruth Liu, Sports, Arts, and Entertainment Finalist, captivated audiences with her inspiring artwork, showcasing her creative talents and raising funds for charity through her popular exhibition.
  • Campaign 4 Change, also a finalist in the Sports, Arts, and Entertainment category, is recognised for its pioneering self-advocacy efforts, giving people with learning disabilities a voice and empowering them to shape social care practices.

Achieve together is honoured to support these incredible individuals and Campaign 4 Change, as well as to play an active role in the awards. We are especially proud to see our Achieve together community so well represented, with Crystal Higgins and Ben Fai Lankshear serving as judges this year, and Fiifi Tetteh as a member of the awards steering group.

The Learning Disability and Autism Leaders Awards 2025 will be hosted on 13 June 2025, celebrating the achievements of those who are truly shaping the future of social care.

o   As an excellent employer, Achieve together has no median pay gap, employs over 6,000 team members, and has won an award for its apprenticeships.
