The National Care Forum (NCF) – the leading association for not-for-profit social care is delighted to once again be partnering with Skills for Care, and collaborating with ARC England, to deliver The Managers Conference 2025. This event is the only conference dedicated to care managers, deputies and those aspiring to these roles.

The conference is returning to its regular setting of Wyboston Lakes Resort in Bedfordshire on Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th March. Conference sessions will tackle crucial considerations for care managers including the CQC Single Assessment Framework, best practice in learning and development together with tips on getting the best out of your care teams and handling difficult conversations. Marr Procurement, the event’s headline sponsor, will offer cost-saving advice to delegates as they join other solution and product suppliers in the extensive and varied exhibition.

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased on the Skills for Care website and the event can be followed on social media at #TheMC2025.

Interactive workshops will also be devoted to a number of practice-based priorities. These include a fun session bringing new technology to life, enabling managers to explore how new innovations can be used in various care environments including residential, independent living and support services for people with learning disabilities. Other sessions will focus on the Workforce Strategy and what implementation of this framework, developed by the whole sector and launched last year by Skills for Care, could look like on the ground.

Tickets for the full conference and exhibition which includes overnight accommodation, dinner and drinks reception on 10th March plus breakfast, lunch and refreshments the following day are priced at £355+VAT. Day tickets, for the conference and exhibition are also available for £199+VAT which includes lunch and refreshments.

Vic Rayner, CEO of NCF said: “The Managers Conference is an event that has gone from strength to strength and become a real staple for care managers from all types of settings. This year’s conference looks set to offer the same rich learning opportunities together with the chance to reconnect with colleagues, collaborate and share experiences. We’re very excited by the varied programme we have curated and confident it will appeal to a wide range of managers. The insights and ideas from our expert speakers and exhibitors together with the opportunity to work interactively during workshop sessions will help delegates navigate the challenges that lay ahead and identify solutions for some of the biggest issues facing them. We look forward to welcoming everyone to The Managers Conference and thank our speakers, sponsors and exhibitors for helping us continue to make this one-of-a-kind event available to our wonderful care managers.”

Oonagh Smyth, CEO of Skills for Care commented: “We’re thrilled to be partnering once again with the National Care Forum and ARC England to deliver The Managers Conference 2025. Managers in adult social care play such a crucial role in delivering high-quality support, and this event is an invaluable opportunity for them to come together, share best practice, and gain the skills they need to lead their teams effectively.

“This year’s programme, with its focus on learning and development, the Single Assessment Framework, and other key sector issues, will empower managers to drive positive change in their services. We look forward to connecting with everyone and continuing to support this essential part of our workforce.”

Christoph Marr, Managing Director of Marr Procurement, the event’s headline sponsor said: “Having partnered with NCF for nearly ten years, we are delighted to be the headline sponsor for The Managers Conference 2025. Following the Autumn Budget, 6th April will see significant cost pressures for social care providers. Delivering auditable savings now, without compromising on care or quality, is vital. We look forward to seeing you at The Managers Conference.”
