Optimo Care Group (“Optimo”) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Keymen Associates Limited T/A Mayday Homecare (“Mayday” or “the Company”).
Based in Bolton, Mayday Homecare is a domiciliary care provider which was established in 1997 by John and Marie Spackman who have grown and developed the business into one of the leading providers in the Greater Manchester region.
Operating across the Bolton and Bury areas, Mayday provides a range of care services specialising in domiciliary care, currently delivering more than 4,000 care hours per week to around 500 clients. Mayday currently employ around 160 staff, all of whom will remain with the business with plans established to further increase the size of the team through further expansion of its services.
Optimo Care Group was co-founded by Mark Hales and Richard Walker in 2010 with a single vision in mind – to create high quality, progressive and a well reputed family of care services across the North of England. Optimo aim to provide person centred care and support in ways which have positive outcomes for service users and deliver a service to be proud of. The Group is made up of a number of subsidiaries, and delivers over 12,500 hours of care per week, employing over 700 people, operating across the North of England. This acquisition is the first of many planned to take place over the next 12 months to cement Optimo’s position as one of the UK’s leading community care providers.
