Brunelcare launch new initiative to help care sector and people who can no longer work

Charity Brunelcare has launched a new initiative to drive support for its care and administrations teams across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Somerset and people who can no longer work. In light of recent events and the effect this is having on the care sector, alongside individuals who may have lost their jobs;

Brunelcare are offering the opportunity to join the team with immediate effect with full, paid-for training that could even lead to a permanent role within the charity.

Brunelcare will have new opportunities reported to them daily as colleagues begin to self-isolate and more vulnerable employees are sent home on full-pay. The roles will range from nurses, carers, homemakers, chefs, community carers and administration duties. The initiative doesn’t only help Brunelcare teams but also helps people who may have lost their jobs in other sectors.

Brian Whittaker, HR Director said: “In these challenging times, we feel it’s our responsibility to help those who are losing their jobs in other sectors. This protects our ability to deliver our services safely, to the required standard and to support our existing employees who are working hard in the absence of ill, and self-isolating colleagues. It is a simple win/win.”
