Ringway Mews care home in Sharston, Wythenshawe, was visited on Friday 12th April by MP for Wythenshawe and Sale East, Mike Kane, who undertakes the role of Shadow Minister for Transport.
Residents and colleagues of the HC-One owned care home enjoyed meeting MP Mike Kane and chatting to him about what life is like at Ringway Mews – which is an integral part of the local Wythenshawe community.
MP Mike Kane and Local Councillor, Emma Taylor, introduced themselves to 20 residents, four relatives and 10 members of staff. Residents enjoyed meeting and learning about Mike, his life, and his family. They enjoyed a tour round the 150-bed nursing and dementia care home and visited the general nursing and nursing dementia communities.
Mike commented that the atmosphere at Ringway Mews was lovely, calm, and well-presented.

Sally Toms, Deputy Manager at Ringway Mews Care Home, commented:
“We were delighted to welcome MP Mike Kane for Wythenshawe and Sale East to our home. Everyone had a great time, chatting and discussing key issues they care about and what actions can be taken to overcome them.
“We all enjoyed a delicious lunch together and lots of interesting conversations.”
