A LOCAL housing development marked a significant milestone as tenants, families, and staff gathered to commemorate 40 years of community living at St Mary’s Gardens.
The ruby anniversary celebration saw the development welcome 40 guests who indulged in a spread of birthday cake and refreshments while being serenaded by local piper Heather Grant.
Informal speeches and lively chats made for a joyous occasion, allowing tenants to reminisce about memories and share their experiences of calling St Mary’s Gardens home.
Tenant Helen, said: “It was nice to meet so many strangers who became friends.”
Fellow tenant Fay, said: “It was nice we all got together and to meet all the staff.”
