and attended our meetings in Parliament to meet Care Providers and Relatives of Residents.

In 2004 David introduced a
Private Member¹s Bill calling for a
Commissioner for the Elderly.
He assures us that what he has learned
through CARE TALK and
The WATCH Project
helped him realise the need.

Mr Ennis was very interested in our situation concerning the future level of
funding for one of our residents. He has requested the information in writing and on receipt has promised to take the issue up directly with the Chief Executive of Social Services ­ a person I have been previously unable to contact.
